HAM & CHEESE BREAKFAST SPIRAL 🔥
Think ham, cheese and egg toastie… but crispy, cheesy, and wrapped in golden rice paper! Video included!
This protein packed spiral is made using the Sunbeam SteamFry Air Fryer, available from Appliances Online. Ideal for brunch, lunch, or whenever you're craving something warm and satisfying!
Serves 1
412 calories, 38g protein
Ingredients:
3 rice paper sheets
1 tsp cracked pepper
2 egg for dipping (only 1 counted in calories as remaining egg wash wont be used)
2 eggs for filling
120g low fat shredded ham
50g shredded light mozzarella
1 tbsp chopped spring onions
1g sesame seeds
1 tbsp tomato chutney (optional)
Method:
Scramble the eggs in a pan and form into thin strips (leave slightly undercooked)
Crack the other 2 eggs into a shallow dish with pepper then whisk to make the egg wash
Lightly dip each rice paper into the egg mixture (one at a time) and lay slightly overlapping on a chopping board (as per the video)
Add the ham in a line across the rice paper, top with scrambled egg, pepper cheese and spring onions
Wrap from the bottom tightly into a long log shape, fold in the sides and continue to roll tightly until you have one long line of rice paper
Wrap around into a spiral, top with sesame seeds and place in the SteamFry Air Fryer on AirFry Function for 12 minutes on 200 degrees celsius
Remove, cut down the middle and serve with chutney!
