Recipes by Victoria behind the scenes (and the camera roll).
10 Things You May Not Know About Me.
You know me for the recipes, but here are 10 things you might not know about me.
I was the first to put sushi rice into a waffle maker, what started as a random experiment turned into a viral moment that changed everything.
I didn’t go to culinary school. I learned through curiosity, obsession, and a genuine love for making healthy food exciting and accessible.
I wake up early, go to bed early, and do my best thinking when the world is still quiet in the mornings… it’s when my best ideas come to life.
I built this from my kitchen bench, one recipe at a time. No team, no production crew - just me, my iphone, and a lot of late night editing.
I don’t guess what people want to see, I ask. I rely heavily on feedback and data from my community to shape my future recipes and keep it evolving
My kitchen looks like a culinary crime scene after every shoot. I’ll spend hours perfecting a recipe, but somehow act shocked every time I have to clean up the war zone I created.
I’m the most annoying person in my girls group chat, constantly sending clips asking, “Is this edit good or do I hate it because I’ve watched it 47 times?” At this point, I’m one voice note away from being removed from the group chat.
I’ve filmed over 400+ recipes, and I’m constantly challenging myself to push boundaries and keep things fresh because creativity doesn’t come from comfort zones.
I have a one year old cat named Nori who thinks he’s my sous chef except his idea of “helping” is jumping into frame mid recipe to steal a bite. There’s probably more footage of his paws in my videos than I’d like to admit.
I still feel proud every single time someone recreates one of my recipes. It’s the reason I do what I do. Make sure to tag @recipesbyvictoria on Instagram or TikTok so I can see what you’ve created!
